A map showing the continental divide trail

CDT 2023

The Continental Divide Trail is a National Scenic Trail, or long distance hiking trail, that spans over 3000 miles from Mexico to Canada. It was first established in 1978 and crosses 5 states, 25 national forests, 21 wilderness areas, and 3 national parks. It is considered one of the longest, most remote, and difficult trails in the country.

On April 18th, 2023, I started my journey on the CDT heading northbound, and anticipate reaching Canada by early October. Click the buttons below to follow along with me, or follow me on social media for some occasional posts.
